Can I request a certain time or day for your service?Absolutely. We will always endeavour to have a technician to come to your home, at a time convenient for you. Appointments start from 7.30am – Monday to Friday. We can also arrange quotations and even complete some jobs out of normal business hours on request.

How do your technicians detect damage caused by my leaking shower?When we come to assess your shower, we use advanced methods of leak detection. A non-invasive moisture meter is used to check your joints, shower base and plumbing (taps & shower outlet). Even before using the moisture meter, our experts can usually tell if a shower is leaking just from a visual look – old, mouldy silicone, cracked or missing grout, drummy tiles, etc.

How soon can I use the shower after your service?In most cases your shower can be used 24 hours after the service – we’ll advise, depending on which service you have. If you have your shower floor re-grouted with our Epoxy grout this can usually take 48 hrs for the floor grout to fully cure.

My tap constantly drips and the shower floor stays wet. Will this affect the service?Yes. it will. When we come and assess your shower we’ll make you aware of any plumbing issues with our leak detection service – If it’s a constantly dripping tap, we would recommend a tap service by a plumber before we proceed with your scheduled service.

How can I tell if my shower is leaking?Does your shower display any of the symptoms below? If so, call or email us so we can assess your leaking shower & get it fixed, so to prevent any more serious issues occurring. Cracked joints around walls and floor Carpet that smells wet or musty Mouldy grout that won’t come clean Grout that is cracked or missing Door frames or skirting boards that have swollen Silicone that’s become mouldy around the shower Peeling or blistering paint on your shower walls Discolouration on the bottom row of your shower walls Calcification on the bathroom floor around the shower.

How long before the service should we stop using the shower?It is recommended that the area be clear, clean and dry before the shower service so we ask clients not to use the shower or shower bath on the day of the service. In cases when there is significant water damage we may require that the shower not be used for 2 days to ensure that the area is fully dry.

Security – Are Technicians police checked?Yes. All of out member who job involves entering a private property is police checked.

I’ve heard that when the shower walls or floor has been re-grouted it leaves dust on the tiles?Yes. it does leave a small amount of grout residue/dust when the grout has dried. Our technicians remove as much grout residue as possible during the re-grouting process. A minimal amount of residue will be present when we have completed your shower service – an old dry tea towel or cloth will remove the excess dust very easily, approximately 24 hours after our service.

Does the sealer have a strong odour that will stay in the house?Most of our services produce no noticeable or lasting odours. Depending on the specific procedure, different chemicals and products are used that exhibit different strength and properties. If odours are a concern, please leave your windows and screens open to allow fresh air to circulate through your home. If there are any slight odours from the service, these should dissipate within an hour

Is your shower repair service noisy or dusty?There will be minimal noise, mess and disruption on the day of the service. Our trades people are tidy and understand that they are working in your home and any dust is cleaned up by the technicians who are equipped with vacuum cleaners.

Does my home insurance cover leaking showers?In general house insurance doesn’t cover repairs to leaking showers. Home and contents insurance may cover damage to other rooms but not the shower or bathroom area. Insurance usually covers burst pipes or damage caused by an accident. Your best insurance cover is to repair any potential problems before a leak starts.

Will my shower be easier to clean?Yes. Cleaning is easier as the viscosity of the Showerseal Plus prevents the build-up of dirt and mould and is highly resistant to water, grease, scouring or use of abrasive cleaners.

* For more information please see warranty as listed below:
1. Subject to the conditions of warranty set out in point 2 below, the Seller (ShowerSeal Plus) warranty that if any defect in product supplied by the Seller becomes apparent and is reported to the Seller; within Ten (10) years (depending on products) ; the Seller will either (at the Seller’s sole discretion) repair the defect.
2. The conditions applicable to the warranty given by point 1 above are:
(a) the warranty shall not cover any defect or damage which may be caused or partly caused by or arise through:
(i) failure on the part of the Buyer to properly maintain any products; or
(ii) failure on the part of the Buyer to follow any instructions or guidelines provided by the Seller; or
(iii) any use of any products otherwise than for any application specified on a quote or order form; or
(iv) the continued use of any products after any defect becomes apparent or would have become apparent to a reasonably prudent operator or user; or
(v) fair wear and tear, any accident or act of God.
(b) The warranty shall cease and the Seller shall thereafter in no circumstances be liable under the terms of the warranty if the workmanship is repaired, altered or overhauled without the Seller’s consent.
(c) In respect of all claims the Seller shall not be liable to compensate the Buyer for any delay in either replacing or repairing the workmanship/products or in properly assessing the Buyer’s claim.
3. The warranty does not apply if;
(a) the shower is affected by any structural movement however caused;
(b) any damage is caused to the area treated by neglectful, intentional or accidental acts;
(c) the treated area has been used for other activities contrary to its designed purpose intentional or otherwise;
(d) there are latent defects within the premises in reasonable proximity to the treated area at the time of, or which become apparent subsequent to, application of the products,
(e) an alteration or replacement of any fixture or fittings is undertaken subsequent to the original application of the product which in anyway detrimentally affects the treated area;
(f) any plumbing or repairs have subsequently detrimentally affected the treated area;
(g) any tiling problems or quality of the tiles arises which in anyway detrimentally affect the treated area;
(h) works are completed by person or persons other than the Seller or the Sellers agent, which detrimentally affect the treated area, after the application of the products; and
(i) the source of the leak is incorrectly diagnosed by person or persons other than the Seller or the Sellers agent before or after the application of the products; and
(j) any pre-existing or subsequent tiling problem, relating either to the adherence of the tiles or the inherent quality of the tiles, arises which detrimentally affects the treated area; and
(k) a moulded shower or bath moves away from the walls
(l) the shower has been used within twenty-four hours prior to service and the shower has been used within twenty-four hours after service, or as otherwise instructed by the Seller.
4. The warranty does not cover
(a) the appearance of the shower; and
(b) staining or discoloration over time directly or indirectly as a result of cleaning products; and
(c) variations of colour, shade or texture from those shown on samples, product packaging or any other marketing materials;
(d) variations in thickness or product application due to initial placement of tiles.
(e) Subfloor moisture or water damage;
(f) Scratches, cracked or chipped tiles that or may not have been caused by grinding joints;
(g) Damages caused by exposure to inappropriate, excessive or extreme temperatures; such as floor heating.
(h) Moulds caused by lack of maintenance or structural issues.
5. For goods not supplied by the Seller, the warranty shall be the current warranty provided by the manufacturer of the Goods. The Seller shall be under no liability whatever, except for the express conditions as detailed and stipulated in the manufacturer’s warranty.

Please be aware that should we be called back to a shower and find that the reported issue is not part of our warranty terms and conditions that there will be a $95.00 call out fee.
